Les Zygomates Reviews
This was outstanding French food, and with the prix fixe, an incredible deal as well. Everything each of us had was delicious, and the portions were just right. The staff has a sense of humor and style. Those who love a French bistro will be quite at home. The unlikely location can be a bonus - particularly for public transportation lovers, it's just a block or two from South Station.
Super dining experience! French bistro atmosphere, outstanding food, and an incredible deal with the prix fixe menu. Everything each of us got was excellent, and the portions were just right. Also close to South Station for public transportation types.
2004 - No longer a favorite. It's gone WAY down hill in the past year and a half. Go for a glass of wine, but skip the food. Can't understand it. The chef-partner stayed...and the food quality went down hill. Wine-partner leaves and this place still has new and amazing wines2001 - Outstanding! Traditional french bistro fare pushed to the limit with sauces that are almost sinful. The service is beyond reproach. Add to that a comprehensive (ever changing) wine list, which offers not only hard to find gems, but also dozens of new and unique selections, and you will agree this place is one-of-a-kind.
This restaurant is a joke. I search for good foie gras and after this experience, I am still searching. The service was so bad, they managed to turn dinner into 2.5 hours of pulling teeth. The food was unacceptable, the seared foie gras was undercooked, the escargot lacked fresh herbs, the chicken at Burger King would have been tastier. Later that night, my friend and I both had upset stomachs and ended up violently ill, vomiting explosively around 3:30am. I would sue this restaurant if I ended up with food poisoning.

Asked the bartender for a recommendation between scallops and blue fish. She recommended the bluefish and was spot on, it was excellent, not oily. Crisp skin an fresh veggies. Great dish!
