Carnegie Deli Reviews
Pastrami sandviç ve cornef beef sandviç çok başarılı, yok ben ikisinden de tatmak isterim diyorsanız "Woody Allen" derim
Regular cheesecake > chocolate truffle cheesecake
by Nat H.
Good food, but way over priced. It is NYC and it is tourist trap --- but $40 for an open faced sandwich and a glass of iced tea?!?!
by Katie A.
Portions are HUGE! Split meals, unless you want a couple of days worth of leftovers. It's worth the $3 split plate fee.
by Hi There!
Don't go alone. Oversized portions of everything but so good!!!!! Avoid sharing fee by one ordering sandwich and other ordering dessert.
by Arlene M.
Make sure MONICA is your server. She's a gem.
by Ken S.
Do yourself a favor and don't order delivery to a hotel. We finally got our food ninety minutes and ten phone calls later and, big surprise, it was cold. Totally inept at delivering to a hotel.
by James S.
Be forewarned-sandwiches are HUGE! Definitely share! You think it's pricey then you see what you get and you see why. Really fun place to be! If you want lunch go early-the line gets crazy by 12.
by Marika C.
The venerable delicatessen's Sandwich of the Month. This puppy features a pair of latkes piled with roast turkey, gravy and stuffing, served open-faced with cranberry sauce on the side.
by Dave Kers
Pastrami and pickles, very delicious
by Tankut A.
Get the Woody Allen, a pastrami cornbeef combo its the bomb!
by Sandra R.
Scrumptious sandwiches. I recommend the Reuben; it is incredible. Just a heads-up: the sandwiches are stupidly huge so plan on splitting. Small, packed, little place with an awesome New York-feel.
by Social News Network
Wastefully and gluttonously large portions.
by Allen .
Sandwich devasa ancak yarisini yiyebildim tam bir new yorker style..pahada agir 27 dolares fuckin awesome:)
Try the Chicken Ceaser Salad (via @Foodspotting)
The WORST cheesecake I have ever had in my life. Super dry. Not enough strawberry sauce...12 bucks...huge slice but NOT worth it. Trust me. Go to Eileen's special cheesecake or to Junior's.
by Stephanie R.
Corned beef or pastrami
by Masayoshi S.
I got the woody allen sandwich with a slice of swiss. Nothing special I still prefer Katz over Carnegie. But I heard their reuben was pretty good so I'll guess I'll have to come back for that!
by Nicole A.
Ask for Danny he's awesome waiter!!
by Alex H.
Out-of-towners be advised, food servings are massive. Pay the split charge to share and save yourself some money (and pounds).
by Mark C.
All I have to say is Amazing!! Best Rueben sandwich EVER!! One is enough for 3 people!!! If I ever return to NYC I will eat here again!! Loved it!!!
by Angie B.

This place is a must-go! I tell all my friends! They have the best cheesecake in the whole world! I I know people who don't like cheesecake, and they all loved this one!
by Daniel G.
If you're thinking about going here, don't. Go to Katz's instead.
by Jon U.
Waiter said we get free piece of cheesecake and recommended strawberry.when sandwich was done he brought said cake.we were charged, and cashier said he must have been joking.not going back.
by Nichole F.
Shared a pastrami there, waiter said we get a free piece of cheesecake, and recommended the strawberry. Long story short, we were charged, and cashier said he must have been joking..not going back.
by Nichole F.
Split a sandwich and slice of cheesecake between two, still a mountain of food! Leave the tip on the table and just pay the bill at the cash register.
by Lisa N.
Breaking News: The Carnegie Deli now accepts credit cards! Seriously.
by Alex L.
Tourist trap! So expect to dig deep in your pockets and fork over that wad of cash!
by Pierce P.

The pastrami Sandwhich was the biggest I've ever had, good food!
by Arman A.
Nom Nom. If you like your sandwiches piled high, then you are in for quite the experience at the NYC staple. We recommend the "Woody Allen!"
Ask for the Strawberry cheesecake! You won't regret it!
by Sean G.
Order the "Woody Allen."
by Jay K.
Tip: Portions are big so share a Woody Allen with someone cute who's about to give a talk at a prestigious economics conference.
Get carry out. Service sucks and the decor is nothing special.
by Michael W.
Típico deli americano. Raciones descomunales, fotos de los clientes famosos en las parades... El plato estrella es el sandwich "Woody Allen"
by Chema V.
The Woody Allen Sandwich is good and huge! Enough for two people
by Eric R.
Don't expect waitress to be kind, at least the Asian ones. There speech is really polite, but they probably never saw a smile! Also, they ROUND UP your bill to the next full dollar. Really annoying!
by Fabio D.
The Pastrami Reuben is as good as everyone says it is. Sandwich is HUGE, share it with another person (or 2).
by Savory and S.
Get the Woody Allen. If you're not a big eater, ask to share it. If you're a big eater, still ask to share. Finish off with the fresh strawberry cheesecake.
by Mike C.
You would not even realize you're walking by it it's a hole in the wall but the food is so good. A must stop and eat
by Stephanie G.

Go for breakfast, too: coffee's hot. Platters are big. And you can still order your fav mega sandwich.
by Glen G.
The sandwiches are HUGE!!!! If you end up sharing you will get charged $3 and there are not free refills!!!!
by Kerri H.
The pastrami, my God the pastrami. It's so good.
by Brian B.
I cant believe rediculous this place is!!! Taking advantage of the tourist factor and charging $21.00 for a fucking Turkey and Cheese!!!!!!!
by Joe K.
View from the Carnegie Deli line. It shows the crane falling off the roof, but it's tied down somehow.
by Lina G.
This place is a tourist trap, with all the photos of celebrities (that have never eaten here) on the wall. Go to Benash deli across the road instead.
Carnegie Deli bad ass sandwich

by King Arthur W.
One sandwich feeds two or three or four people
by Christoff S.
$16.75 for their famous Pastrami sandwich, and $9.75 for a slice of cheesecake? No, thanks. #absurd #touristtrap
by benjamin b.
Cheesecakes, sanduíches de pastrami e a garçonete Deborah, uma apaixonada pelo Brasil, neste que é um dos lugares favoritos de Woody Allen e um misto de Capela e Cerventes, mas com a cara de NY.
by Daniela N.
Cash only! But there is a ATM in the back.
Don't be stupid. Eat here!
by Jeffy G.
Great place for meat-eaters. Good place to stop after tiring your guests out walking through Central Park. Get cheesecake take-out at nearby Stage Deli on your way home.
by Lisa G.
You HAVE to get Wayne as your waiter !!!! So fun ! Best cheesecake! Huge salad!
by Kayla B.
Matzoh Ball soup... Yum.
by Neil V.
Woody Allen is excellent and you gotta have the cheese cake
by John D.
Best Cheesecake in NYC.
by Jason S.
Pastramis named after Woody Allen are insane. There is easily 2kg of meat in there.
by Davide C.
One time deal- huge portion sandwich with only meat, kind of a let down. Too big to eat on your own and it's an expensive split fee.
by Katie R.
Best cheesecake in Manhattan
by Andrea B.
best pastrami ever!
by Marcela B.
Chocolate babka to-die-for.
by David A. H.
I think it was rude of the server to basically tell my friend to leave because he didn't want to eat, just because it's in ny. I think it's pretty dumb never again would I come back such a shame
by Anthony T.
Wow, these guys can be obnoxious. Enforcing a $12.50 minimum per person when we came for dessert and the place has lots of open tables?
by Christopher C.
Pude un Pay de queso congelado para llevar co topping de fresa o Mora azul. Vale la pena transportarlo! Delicioso. No aceptan tarjetas.
by Arturo G.
Always good - always plenty. This place may be touristy but the locals love it too because it's awesome. Don't forget - cash only.
