Upstream Brewing Company Reviews
If you don't mind waiting over an hour for terrible service and so-so food, this is the place to go. Of course in that hour that you wait you get to watch what I assume you would call 'managers' running around and over everyone with a Burger King like ear piece. (Would you like fries with that?) This company is supposed to be partnered with a Denver based restaurant and I would not even begin to compare them. When the restaurant originally opened up, the menu was excellent which also went along with the service. Now they have changed the food and the staff so much you never get what you want or the service that you need. I would suggest any other restaurant in town then this catastrophe. Be careful you don't get in the middle of their weekly customer fights, this is of course the only bonus to being there.
I had one of the specials. Pan-seared pork tenderloin with port wine & rosemary demi glace served with wild mushroom & artichoke polenta & steamed vegetables. Great flavors!!! Plenty of food. Cost was possibly a little pricey ($13.95) but I enjoyed the meal & the surroundings very much. Neat exposed brick walls. The only down side was the noise factor caused by the high ceilings & hard brick surfaces.
The atmosphere and decor are real good. The crowd is of all ages, and everyone has a good time while there. The food is prepared and presented well. A good place to take your guest.
Great atmosphere with aweswome beer. Especially great when you get there during happy hour. Only $1.50 a beer! This place is busy, but we have never had a problem finding a seat in the bar area.
It's rare to have a bad meal at the Upstream. Try mixing their smoked gouda & pale ale soup with their tomato soup. Also, check out of their speciality beers.
The steaks are better at Rock Bottom but the pints(and everything else) are better at Upstream! The flagship IPA is PERFECT. The red is good for real beer novices.

Excellent location and nice place to hang out. Food is very good, and if you like raspberries, try the Upstream Raspberry Lager. Very tasty.

I was deciding between the salmon and the jambalaya. Our server, Nathan, said the chef is from Louisiana, so my decision was easy.
