  • ritam reviewThe best restaurant I've ever dined at in my life. Chef Keller is extraordinary--a national treasure. Be prepared for a whopping bill though: mine was $518 for two and only $155 of that was for wine. Don't think of it as a meal. Think of it as a life experience.

  • tccltd reviewOur worst experience was trying to make a reservation. It has to be exactly 2 months before they'll accept it. Not even 2 months and 1 day. We called non-stopped for 4 hours and got thru and found out we were 1 day too early. Next day we called non-stop for 45 mins and got thru and waited another 40 minutes just to talk to a human. Finally a woman came on and didn't seem that interested in our business. There were 5 of us in the party and arrived 6pm sharp on a very hot 90+F day. We were seated upstairs and surprisely they left all the doors and windows open even on a hot day like that. It got so warm in there that most guests were sweating and the fact that men were required to wear jackets didn't help things either. By midway, all the men have discarded their jackets and some have removed their ties. We spent about $1500 that evening and for that kind of money we expected a world class restaurant that provide world class comfort and service. The heat was so bad we couldn't really enjoy the food. This ordeal lasted 4 hours when we left at 10pm and the temperature did cool off then to a more `pleasant` level. If you go, suggest you wear shorts and bring your own portable air conditioner to cool off.
